Founded by Laura Slay in 1991, Laura Slay & Associates originally catered to the food, wine and high-end retail industries. Always an entrepreneurial firm, we’ve remained relatively small and nimble, but we’ve steadily branched out into a variety of industries and teamed with some of the Midwest’s top creative talents. Our client list has expanded to include non-profit organizations in education and public policy, biotechnology and, of course, food and wine.
Extending a helping hand to those in need is as much a part of what we do as any professional service we provide. Over the years, Laura Slay & Associates has donated time, labor, financial assistance and other support to many organizations that are making a difference in Missouri. Approaching our philanthropy as strategically as our business, we have two primary areas of focus: education & arts. We recognize that the future of the community depends on the quality and resourcefulness of our education systems. That’s why Laura Slay & Associates supports the organizations listed below. We want to help improve scholastic opportunities for children–especially those in urban areas. Through our support of the arts, we are also investing in our future. Programs and organizations such as the Mizzou New Music Initiative and the Contemporary Art Museum of Saint Louis contribute to a vibrant culture scene in Missouri, foster an atmosphere of creativity, bring new ideas into our workplaces and classrooms and stimulate our community to think in new ways.
